Or, come stroll through the Arts Market operated by the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge, on the first Saturday of each month.

All vendors accept cash. However, some vendors also accept credit cards. If you need to use a credit, debit, or EBT/SNAP card, visit the Market Information booth at every market. We will swipe your card for your total amount, and issue wooden tokens that all farmers market vendors accept as payment. Tokens never expire and can be used at all locations of Red Stick Farmers Market.

BREADA advocates for equitable food policy, working with the Louisiana Legislature to pass “Greaux the Good,” new funding that gives all Louisiana farmers markets access to funding to provide dollar-for-dollar matching to SNAP benefit card holders. At all of our markets, customers can match up to $40 in SNAP purchases. SNAP Match has long been offered at the Red Stick Farmers Market, thanks to a sponsorship from Louisiana Healthcare Connections, and BREADA's experience with the program has provided leadership to ensure that smaller communities in different parishes can do the same. Funded by the state of Louisiana, Greaux the Good is the result of BREADA's state-wide advocacy, and has become a national model for its work in connecting low-income residents with fresh, healthy food, while also supporting small businesses.

Pets are not allowed at any of our markets. Sorry furry friends, but pets & produce don't mix! As a fresh food market, pets can create health & safety issues for our vendors & visitors.
