Become a Vendor

Are you a farmer or producer interested in selling at the Red Stick Farmers Market or Main Street Market?


Process

All prospective applicants must follow the application process for applying to become a vendor at the Red Stick Farmers Market (outdoor market) or the Main Street Market (indoor market facility). Please read the vendor guidelines for your category before contacting us as most of your questions can be answered here.

  1. Download and read vendor guidelines.
  2. Complete the vendor application, attach insurance policy and mail in with $30 application fee
  3. If your product meets our guidelines, BREADA staff will schedule a visit to your farm or kitchen
  4. Application is submitted to the Farmer Advisory Committee for final approval
  5. Applicant is notified of decision by BREADA staff

Farmers

DSCN1795We are actively seeking new farmers to provide for our growing markets. We offer different farmers markets days and locations for new farmers depending on your size and capacity. Please review our RSFM_Application_RulesRegs_2020-21.

Agricultural & Entrepreneurial Food Businesses

reLocal artists and entrepreneurial food businesses are eligible to apply for a day stall inside Main Street Market on Saturday mornings. Print out the 2020&2021_MSM DAY Stall Application_Policies Procedures. Main Street Market Guidelines and return the completed application via postal mail.

Local Artists

The Baton Rouge Arts Market held on the first Saturday of each month is operated separately by the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge. Please contact them directly for information on selling your product at the Arts Market. www.artsbr.org 225.344.8558

Musicians

We encourage local musicians to apply to play at the Red Stick Farmers Market. All musical performances must be approved and scheduled to play. If you are a musician and interested in playing at the Market, please download and complete the music application.

Non-profits

BREADA supports local non-profits in furthering their mission to improve our community. If you operate a nonprofit organization and wish to promote your organization or event, please read the Main Street Market guidelines for general information and complete the Non Profit Application.
