Ingredients
- 1 canatloupe, peeled, seeded, and cubed (about 4-5 cups)
- 2 tablespoons torn mint leaves
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chilled simple syrup or 3/4 cup honey
- 2 cups crushed ice
Directions
In a blender, combine the cantaloupe, mint leaves, simple syrup or honey, lemon juice, salt until smooth.
Add the crushed ice.
Pour the granita into individual glasses and garnish with mint.
Yield 8-12 servings
