Under-Contruction
We're embarking on an incredible journey to transform Main Street Market's indoor facility into something truly remarkable. The State of Louisiana has allocated a $1 million budget to renovate the facility, enhancing your market experience.
While the indoor facility will be closed for approximately six months, we want to assure you that our beloved farmers market will continue to thrive every week at its usual location. Stay tuned for updates!

About

About Main Street Market

Main Street Market, located in downtown Baton Rouge, is an indoor hall that features locally-owned restaurants and specialty shops housed in a public marketplace setting.

Main Street Market is open Monday through Saturday, serving coffee, breakfast, and lunch for downtown residents, workers, and visitors. Validated parking is available in the adjoining Galvez parking garage. On Saturdays, Main Street Market combines with the Red Stick Farmers Market to create a community market offering cooking demonstrations, artisan food products, as well as prepared meals.

Pets are not allowed at any of our markets. Sorry furry friends, but pets & produce don't mix! As a fresh food market, pets can create health & safety issues for our vendors & visitors.

Main Street Market also offers free Wi-Fi to customers.
